Open Access Policy
Jurnal Lektur Keagamaan is committed to the principles of open access, aiming to promote the widest possible dissemination of scholarly knowledge. This journal is open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to users or / institutions. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to full-text articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or author. This policy outlines JLKA's approach to open access publishing and its commitment to providing free and unrestricted access to its published articles.
Open Access Model
JLKA follows the gold open access model, where all articles published in the journal are freely accessible to readers without any subscription or payment barriers. Authors retain copyright of their articles, and JLKA applies the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike (CC-BY-NC-SA) license to ensure authors' rights and enable non-commercial sharing and adaptation of the content.
Author Responsibilities
Authors submitting manuscripts to Jurnal Lektur Keagamaan agree to publish their work under the CC-BY-NC-SA license. This license grants readers the right to use, share, and adapt the articles for non-commercial purposes, provided proper attribution is given and any resulting derivative works are distributed under the same license.
Article Processing Charges (APCs)
JLKA is committed to keeping open access publishing affordable and sustainable. JLKA does not charge authors for submitting their manuscripts nor publication of the articles. Puslitbang Lektur dan Khazanah Keagamaan Badan Litbang dan Diklat Kementerian Agama (Center for Research and Development of Religious Literature and Heritage, Agency for Research and Development and Training, Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia) provides JLKA with technical and financial support, hence zero APCs. Based on that, JLKA is dedicated to providing free services for authors from low-income countries or those facing financial constraints, ensuring inclusivity and equitable access to open knowledge.
Archiving and Indexing
All articles published in Jurnal Lektur Keagamaan are preserved in reputable archiving services, such as the PKP PN Archiving Service and Portico, to ensure long-term accessibility and sustainability. Additionally, JLKA takes proactive measures to ensure its content is widely indexed by major databases, repositories, and search engines, increasing its discoverability and impact.
