Abstrak

Peneltian mengenai teologi pembebasan yang awalnya berkembang dalam tradisi Kristen Amerika Latin, telah menemukan resonansinya dalam pemikiran Islam kontemporer. K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid adalah salah satu tokoh muslim Indonesia yang memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam pengembangan wacana ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manifestasi teologi pembebasan dalam pemikiran Gus Dur, khususnya melalui kajian terhadap buku "Islamku, Islam Anda, Islam Kita". Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis konten. Data primer bersumber dari buku "Islamku, Islam Anda, Islam Kita", dilengkapi dengan sumber-sumber sekunder yang relevan. Hasil: Analisis menunjukkan bahwa pemikiran teologi pembebasan Gus Dur memiliki karakteristik yang khas, memadukan tradisi Islam dengan wawasan modern tentang keadilan sosial. Gus Dur mengkritisi struktur sosial-politik yang menindas, menawarkan reinterpretasi progresif terhadap teks-teks keagamaan, dan menekankan pentingnya pluralisme dan praksis dalam perjuangan pembebasan. Gus Dur berhasil mengkontekstualisasikan konsep teologi pembebasan dalam realitas Indonesia, memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pengembangan wacana Islam progresif. Penelitian ini membuka prospek untuk studi lebih lanjut tentang dampak praktis pemikiran Gus Dur terhadap gerakan sosial di Indonesia dan relevansinya dalam menghadapi tantangan global kontemporer.
